Aftercare

By following the simple yet effective tips below, you can enjoy the beauty of your flowers for longer. Embrace their vibrant colours and delightful fragrances.

  • Trim the stems 2-3cm at a 45 degree angle with a sharp knife to achieve maximum water absorption. Avoid using scissors to prevent damaging the stems. This can be repeated every few days for better hydration.

  • Always use a clean, non-metallic container. Refresh the water every couple of days to prevent bacteria growth and help your flowers absorb nutrients better.

  • Remove any foliage (leaves) that would be below the water line to prevent decay and keep your flowers fresher for longer.

  • Add your floral food or a teaspoon of sugar with a few drops of bleach to the water to nourish your flowers and prevent
bacteria. Remember to repeat this every time the water is changed.

  • Flowers thrive in cooler temperatures. Display your
arrangements in a cool place away from direct sunlight or heat sources to extend their beauty.

  • To maintain the health and appearance of your arrangement regularly remove any floating leaves or wilting flowers by gently picking them out with your fingers or using a small tool.

  • If your flowers are arranged in a floral foam just add enough water when required in order to keep it constantly hydrated.

  • If your flowers are delivered in water, drain the water by
piercing the cellophane before placing them in a clean
container with fresh luke warm water to avoid shock.

CAUTION

  • Keep flowers out of reach of children and pets.
  • Lilies can cause permanent stains so avoid contact with surfaces.
  • Handle bleach with care, avoid contact with skin.
